Meet Our Team
Nadine Aulin
Director
Nadine was born and raised in the FSJ, BC area and graduated from NPSS in 2007.
She is very excited to continue to pursue her musical passion in such a great community! She was trained at the University of Alberta where she studied choral techniques and conducting, vocal and ear training, and specialized in music theory and history. At the UofA she was part of the Sankor all women’s choir as a first soprano and section leader.
Nadine returned to FSJ and now teaches English and Musical Theatre at North Peace Secondary School. Aside from choral training, Nadine’s passion has been in flute performance since 2001. She enjoys dabbling in piano as well as the ukulele, where in her free time she creates songs and learns covers that only her cat has the privy to be entertained with.
Outside of her musical career, Nadine has a young son who is beginning to enjoy singing as well; mostly the theme song to Star Wars. She has lived here for most of her life and is very pleased to give back to the community with the wonderful voices that join the Northern Lights Youth Choir. It is such an honour to be able to shape voices of all skill levels and come together to create something as wonderful as music.
